Hours: 8 am-4pm, Monday - Friday
Location: Newburyport, MA
Salary: $70k-72k annually

Job Summary:
The Executive Assistant provides advanced administrative and clerical support, Front Desk Reception coverage, as well as project assignments for the President & CEO. Performs a broad range of administrative tasks involving sensitivity and discretion. Interacts with all organizational levels. Exercises independent judgment and confidentiality in the performance of all work responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
· Working on a one-on-one basis with the President & CEO, prepares and distributes written correspondence and internal documents to include: memos, letters, grant requests, and other documents, as requested
· Assist Leadership team with needed process/project/clerical support
· Maintains up-to-date internal and external databases of contacts, mailing and distribution lists
· Designs and prepares complex documents, spreadsheets, charts
· Schedules and organizes internal and external meetings to include contact with meeting participants, confirmation of schedules, etc., invitation distribution, arrangement of refreshments and/or special equipment
· Attends Board and Leadership meetings as required, and takes and distributes meeting minutes
· Creates, posts and distributes employee communication material, as directed by the President & CEO
· Updates and maintains correspondence and technical support, associated with the company website, Facebook, and related portals. Ability to make independent decisions on content.
· Effectively interacts and communicates with the Turning Point, Inc. Board of Directors, management, employees, vendors and other external contacts
· Coordinates and manages company and Board events including finding a location, catering, preparing materials, enlisting help, and securing donations. Attends the events to provide support for a successful event
· Responsible for developing and executing fundraising strategies and events to support our organization’s goals
· Manages multiple projects with minimum supervision; exercises an appropriate level of judgment on the completion of tasks and follows through on issues in a timely manner
· Handles a broad range of confidential issues
· Screens phone calls and voice mails and assists the President & CEO with prioritization of daily deliverables, as required
· Provides coordination and administrative support for special projects as assigned
· Additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
· Associate Degree in Business Administration or related field or the equivalent
· At least (5) five years of administrative assistant experience working with a senior executive in a one-on-one working relationship
· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as Outlook and/or Google email
· Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills
· Significant attention to detail, follow-through, and organizational skills
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, prioritize and take initiative
· Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion, confidentiality, and sound judgment in decision making/problem-solving
· Must be able to work additional hours with some infrequent weekend work, as required for special events and/or projects
